PDF Buddy is a web app that works in any modern browser (including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 10 or higher). It doesn't matter if you're on a PC, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook.
Nope. It's completely web-based.
PDF Buddy lets you edit up to 3 PDF files for free each month, in return for sharing our link on your social networks (Facebook, Twitter, or Google+). You can also purchase pay-as-you-go credits to edit additional files, or get unlimited access with our $7.99/month Pro plan. See all your options on our pricing page.
PDF Buddy uses credits to track usage. Every time you download an edited PDF file, a single credit will be deducted from your account. A download is always worth 1 credit, regardless of the file's size or number of pages, and repeated downloads of the same file will still cost 1 credit each.
Each new account starts out with 1 credit. Users can earn more credits by sharing our link on social networks (up to 3 a month), or purchase additional credits with a credit card or PayPal.
Users who sign up for paid subscriptions will have unlimited use, and will not be charged any credits while their subscription is active.
Subscribers of paid accounts are automatically charged once per month, starting on the day of sign up, and continuing until the subscription is canceled. Users may cancel their subscription at any time by clicking the “Cancel subscription” button on the pricing page, or by contacting us at support@pdfbuddy.com.

PDF Buddy works with the vast majority of PDF files. If you experience any problems, however, we want you to let us know!
Yes, most of them.
We're working on improving mobile and touch support. At the moment a partial set of features is supported across a number of mobile devices, and we plan on getting the full set of features mobile ready ASAP.
Most PDF files work well with PDF Buddy. However, be aware that if you have hyperlinks and/or fillable form fields in your original file, they will be disabled in the final output file (i.e. they will show up, but will not be clickable or interactive).
